The number stamped on the part is 52232268810; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2268810. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Seats parts. It supersedes the older numbers 2491010 and 2491012, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits the E36 touring and compact (318ti, 1995–1999), with the M42 or M44 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Seat, rear, cushion, & cover, basic seat (52_0752) and Seat, rear, cushion, & cover, basic seat (52_0755). It weighs about 370 g (0.8 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
