Genuine BMW part 61 35 8 368 173: Central locking system module uncoded. The number stamped on the part is 61358368173; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8368173. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Control units, modules. It supersedes the older number 8360100, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 3 diagrams, among them Body Control Units and Modules (61_0067) and Body Control Units and Modules (61_0159). It weighs about 219 g (0.5 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
