This is a genuine BMW CD Changer, part number 65 12 9 133 085. The number stamped on the part is 65129133085; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9133085. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Radio, amplifier, CD player. It supersedes the older number 9125237, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 9151148.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them CDC retrofit kit f.vehicles w/ SPEG high (03_1580) and CDC retrofit kit f.vehicles w/ SPEG low (03_1581). It weighs about 1.5 kg (3.2 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
