This is a genuine BMW bush, part number 12 13 1 459 053. The number stamped on the part is 12131459053; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1459053. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Ignition coil. It supersedes the older number 1464333, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on 17 diagrams, among them Sound insulation-drive unit swinging arm (11_3315) and Engine housing cover, left (11_3814). It weighs about 3 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Retrofit kit, swinging arm cover (7659444).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
