Genuine BMW part 11 36 7 838 607: Bracket, pressure accumulator. The number stamped on the part is 11367838607; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7838607. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Other Engine parts. It supersedes the older number 7831701, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 coupe and convertible (M3, 2001–2006), with the S54 engine.
BMW draws it on the Vanos Cylinder Head Mounting Parts (11_2994) diagram. It weighs about 340 g (0.7 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
