Genuine BMW part 34 52 1 138 844: Bracket, control unit. The number stamped on the part is 34521138844; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1138844. You will find it on our Brakes shelf, under Electronic components. It supersedes the older number 1159795, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 sedan, coupe and convertible (318i, 320i, 325i and M3, 1992–1998), with the M40, M42, M50 or S50 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Hydro unit ABS/ASC/control unit/support (34_0382) diagram. It weighs about 180 g (0.4 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
