04 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→This is a genuine BMW bow, part number 72 11 7 190 959. The number stamped on the part is 72117190959; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7190959. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Parts and accessories, body parts. It supersedes the older number 8146027, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 compact (318ti, 1995–1999), with the M42 or M44 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Safety Belt Adjuster (72_0201) and Front Safety Belt Mounting Parts (72_0456). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 20 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
