This is a genuine BMW BMW insignia stamped with adhesive film, part number 36 13 6 758 569. The number stamped on the part is 36136758569; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6758569. You will find it on our Wheels & Tires shelf, under Other Wheels parts. It supersedes the older number 1181079, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 61 diagrams, among them BMW light alloy wheel, cross spoke 29 (36_0330) and BMW compound wheel M cross spoke 101 (36_0624). BMW's catalog calls for four of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 7 g (under 0.1 lb).
