This is a genuine BMW BMW CD Europe, part number 65 90 0 393 738. The number stamped on the part is 65900393738; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0393738. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Navigation systems. It supersedes the older number 0305694, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i, 325i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 and other engines — and the European-market versions. It also fits the E46 sedan, coupe and touring (316i, 1999–2004), with the M43, N40, N42, N45 or N46 engines.

BMW draws it on 6 diagrams, among them Spare parts, radio navigation (03_2308) and Spare parts, radio navigation (03_2309). It weighs about 218 g (0.5 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
