Bleeder valve — a genuine BMW part, number 23 13 7 507 652. The number stamped on the part is 23137507652; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7507652. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Manual gearbox parts. It supersedes the older numbers 0146485 and 7509736, so a part carrying any of them is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 7857501.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i, 325i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 and other engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 24 diagrams, among them S6s420g Housing+attaching Parts (23_0219) and S5D...G housing + mounting parts (23_0234).
