Genuine BMW part 25 11 1 222 015: Bearing, shifting arm. The number stamped on the part is 25111222015; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1222015. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Gearshift. It supersedes the older number 1221736, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 40 diagrams, among them Gear shift parts, manual transm./4-wheel (25_0276) and Gear shifting, mech.transm./diesel (25_0281). It weighs about 40 g (under 0.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
