This is a genuine BMW bearing Ledge Exhaust, part number 11 12 1 739 985. The number stamped on the part is 11121739985; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1739985. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Cylinder head with cover. It supersedes the older number 1727789, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, convertible and compact (318i and 318ti, 1992–1999), with the M42 engine.

BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Cylinder head (11_1504) and Cylinder head (11_4372). It weighs about 1.6 kg (3.5 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
