This is a genuine BMW battery strip terminal, part number 41 12 7 058 086. The number stamped on the part is 41127058086; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7058086. You will find it on our Exterior Body shelf, under Other Bodywork parts. It supersedes the older number 7006051, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 compact (316ti, 318td, 318ti, 320td and 325ti, 2001–2004), with the M47N, M54, N40, N42, N45 or N46 engines.
BMW draws it on the Mounting parts for trunk floor panel (41_1366) diagram. It weighs about 45 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
