This is a genuine BMW basic control unit DME, part number 12 14 1 429 773. The number stamped on the part is 12141429773; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1429773. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older number 1429896, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 1430000.
