This is a genuine BMW AX bearing, part number 24 22 1 219 494. The number stamped on the part is 24221219494; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1219494. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Automatic transmission parts. It supersedes the older number 1422291, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (320i, 323i, 325i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M50, M52, S50 or S52 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 4 diagrams, among them A5s310z Planet Wheel Sets (24_0658) and A5s310z Planet Wheel Sets (24_1196). It weighs about 32 g (under 0.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
