The number stamped on the part is 13411247641; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1247641. You will find it on our Air Intake shelf, under Other Fuel preparation and control parts. It supersedes the older number 1739651, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, convertible and compact (318i and 318ti, 1992–1999), with the M42 or M43 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 5 diagrams, among them Cable harness fixings (12_0418) and Volume air flow sensor (13_0363). It weighs about 66 g (0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
