6-speed gearbox silver 1st gear short — a genuine BMW part, number 23 00 7 720 952. The number stamped on the part is 23007720952; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7720952. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Manual gearbox parts. It supersedes the older number 7709914, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 12 kg (27 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
